Ogg, age 83 of Rice and formerly of St. Cloud who passed away very peacefully on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at her son's home. Interment will take place at the Assumption Cemetery Columbarium in St. Cloud. Arrangements were by the Daniel Funeral Home, St. Cloud. Joan was born August 14, 1936 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Thomas and Frances (Meyer) Weling. She married Dennis Ogg, they later divorced and he preceded her in death. In her retirement years Joan was an avid reader. Joan was a very caring, giving and forgiving mother. Joan is survived by her children, Carroll of Rice, Michael of Sauk Rapids, Cindy (Gary) Zimmer of Gatesville, Texas, Bruce (Lori) of Foley and Jamie (Julie) of Foley; daughter-in-law, Bonita Ogg of Foley; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sisters, Ruth Richards of Cambridge and Carol Karls of Richmond. She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, Patrick. Ogg, 52 Foley July 24, 1960 - August 30, 2012 Patrick John Ogg, age 52, of Foley, died Thursday, August 30, 2012 in a motorcycle accident. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at St. John's Catholic Church, Foley. The Rev. Daniel Walz will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday and after 9:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Foley Funeral Home. Parish prayers will be 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Arrangements were made by the Foley Funeral Home. Pat Ogg was born July 24, 1960 in Shakopee, Minnesota to Dennis and Joan (Weling) Ogg. He married Bonnie Jurek on September 5, 1981 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Brennyville. He graduated from Foley High School in 1978. He worked at Midland Nursery for about 10 years, before his recent job of 24 years at Woodcraft. When Pat wasn't working, he loved the outdoors, whether it was camping with his family, fishing, hunting deer and grouse, or riding his motorcycle. Pat and Bonnie would often take weekend trips to northern Minnesota, enjoying the outdoors. Pat was a motivated and caring husband and father. He spent endless hours maintaining and building up their property to his liking. Pat was always keeping himself busy by mowing the yard, maintaining trails in the woods, tree stands, immaculate garden, food plots, landscaping and birdwatching. He took great care of all of his belongings. Pat looked forward to hunting season, fishing season and outdoor adventures. He loved spending any time outside, especially with his wife and family. Pat made several trips on his motorcycle to Jackson, WY to visit his daughters. Pat always worked hard to provide the best for his family and will be deeply missed. He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie, Foley; daughters, Heidi Ogg, Jackson, WY; Jessica Ogg, Jackson, WY; mother, Joan, St. Cloud; mother and father-in-law, Jacob and Sally Jurek, Foreston, brothers, Jamie (Julie), Foley; Bruce (Lori), Foley; Carroll, Rice; Mike, Sauk Rapids; sister, Cindy (Gary) Zimmer, TX and many nieces and nephews and sisters and brother-in-law, Karla (Mike) Graczyk, Howard Lake; John Jurek, Oak Park; and Diane (Tom) Zabinski, St. Cloud.
